3-DAY YORKE PENINSULA SOUTH AUSTRALIA ROAD TRIP

We had a wonderful road trip around the Yorke Peninsula here in South Australia. It wasn’t my first time though we’ve been in the same places sometime in 2015. This time we were a big group with nine cars in convoy total of 30 in headcount. This is a three-day road trip following the itinerary below. NEW BORACAY ISLAND PHILIPPINES

The island paradise of Boracay reopened on the 26th of October 2018 after a six-month rehabilitation. A 30 metre setback from the shoreline is now being implemented resorts are prohibited from putting back structures along the foreshore. WOOL BAY LONG WEEKEND ROADTRIP

The locality of Wool Bay is approximately 220 kilometres from Adelaide. This small seaside town is located on the east coast of southern Yorke Peninsula. A perfect place to relax and enjoy a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The Wool bay Jetty is best known as a great fishing spot. We spent the Australia day long weekend with friends at Wool Bay and visited neighbouring towns such as Stansbury, Edithburgh and Port Hughes. ACCOMMODATIONWe booked our accommodation at Pickering Cottages through their online booking system. It was very convenient and the owner almost immediately confirmed our booking. This place is highly recommendable. Largs Bay is a residential suburb under Port Adelaide Enfield located North West of Adelaide City in South Australia. It is conveniently located 16 km from Adelaide CBD and can easily be reached by bus or train. If you are beach crawling from the Outer Harbor moving to the Southwest Coastline then Largs Bay Jetty stands only few kilometers next to North Haven Beach. This is a popular hangout during summer shallow waters and low waves makes it ideal for swimming. Pine trees lined up along Lady Gowrie Drive bring coolness to the atmosphere perfect for a picnic. The beach front composed of wide sands and Dunes. Around the area you could find a Fish and Chips Kiosk, a Children’s playground, Barbeque Pits and of course Toilets. Largs Bay Jetty is also a fishing spot.
