ROADTRIP TO THE DRIVE-IN CINEMA

One of the coolest outdoor and Aussie experience is simply to try the drive-in cinema. I love the movies and this has probably become one of my favorite fun things to do. In Adelaide, we have the Mainline Drive-in Cinema in Gepps Cross operated by Wallis Cinemas. It has a large outdoor movie screen and a huge car parking area. You can watch the movie inside your car or outdoor on camping chairs(if the weather is not too cold). Some people with van or SUV type of vehicles open the boot of their cars fold down the back seats and lay down comfortably. Where to find Mainline Drive-in Cinema? Mainline Drive-in Cinema is located north of Adelaide City. Just across a well-known intersection ‘Gepps Cross’ along main north road. Here’s their complete address: 588 Main North Road, Gepps Cross SA 5094.   How much? You have the option to buy...

KANGAROO ISLAND

We went on a day trip to Kangaroo Island though after the trip we felt a day wasn’t enough to explore all the wonderful places the island has to offer. Nevertheless, we tried our best to maximise the time we had and visited a few of the top places of interest. Firstly, Kangaroo island is accessible only by SeaLink Ferry that cruises to the island 5x daily. SeaLink Ferry Terminal is located in Cape Jervis which is about 1.5 hours from Adelaide City. You can check out their ferry schedules here. TIP: Every 1st sunday of the month, they have this Special Market Day fares for the Penneshaw Market Day. Passengers get to enjoy half the normal price fare. The return fare per person is only $42 on a Penneshaw Market Day. However, please note that the special fare is only applicable to the 10.00 AM (Cape Jervis to KI) ferry...
