Spending a day at the Barossa Valley – one of Australia’s best wine regions. Here’s a roadtrip itinerary picking up few of the best spots when in Barossa.
1. The Barossa Reservoir’s Whispering Wall
A whisper can be heard clearly from both sides – approximately 140 metres away. Incredibly awesome, the wall really does whisper!

2. Lyndoch Lavender Farm
Extensive product shop of lavender varieties. Creative lavender baked goods, jams and ice cream served in a quaint venue with a vast outdoor area.
A must try: Their Lavender ice cream

Distance from Whispering Wall: 12 km

3. Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre
Most popular stop while in Barossa. At Jacob’s Creek, you’ll have the best food and wine experience while supporting local and keeping it local.
A must try: Book a table and some wine tasting! Sit and relax in one of their bean bags.

4. Chateau Tanunda
Award winning wines. And the Grand brick blue stone building constructed in the 1890s is simply photograph perfect.
A must try: Taste their Barossa Tower Moscato and bring a bottle or two home

5. Seppeltsfield Winery
Identified by it’s distinctive Palm Trees. Seppeltsfield, one of Australia’s oldest wineries, was founded in 1851 by Joseph Ernst Seppelt. They are well known for its signature wine, the 100-year-old Para Tawny.
A must try: Fine dining experience at Fino Restaurant
