The most scenic drive we’ve ever had is our drive from Queenstown to Mount Cook in New Zealand back in June 2019.  The road along the way is simply breathtaking. Mount Cook is the tallest mountain in New Zealand 3,724 meters (12,218 ft) in elevation located in the center of the South Island. Footage shot using Fujifilm X-T100. Queenstown New Zeland 0

We’ve seen how beautiful Queenstown is –at least in pictures! It’s about time we visit and experience this famous city of New Zealand. And see it for ourselves. We figured out winter would be a perfect season to be swept away in those incredible views of snow-capped mountains. We visited Queenstown in the winter months from 27 June to 1 July 2019. In anticipation of the cold weather, we had to pack reliable winter clothes as temperatures can drop to negative zero degrees. This includes thermal under wears, thermal waterproof gloves, snow boots and other layers of clothing. So packing was a bit tricky. Our group was composed of 6 adults and a toddler before the trip we had already booked a 4-bedroom Airbnb accommodation, Milford Sound Coach and Cruise tour as well as an 8-seater van from Avis car rentals. Cradle Mountain, Tasmania 0

We realized 5 days in Tasmania was a bit rushed, but nevertheless we managed to squeeze in most of the highlights of this beautiful place down under. Before our trip we had organized the following: Car hire – from Europcar we chose a small SUV and Europcar provided us a Toyota Rav 4 which was very spacious equipped with safety features. Accommodations – in Cradle Mountain, St Helen’s, Swansea and Hobart for one night in each place. Park Pass – we bought the holiday pass for 8 weeks online (even though we won’t be staying that long) which cost us $60. This was cheaper than buying individual pass per national park. For more information visit the Tasmania Parks & Wildlife Service website. Here’s our 5-day itinerary for this trip: DAY 1 – CATARACT GORGE RESERVE AND LIFFEY FALLS RESERVE We flew in Tasmania via Launceston airport and drove all the...
