It was my first and definitely not my last to visit Maslin Beach. As I was driving down the slope I was greeted with an awesome view. Pure wow! Maslin Beach is the prettiest beach in South Australia. The expansive powdery white sand beach stretches almost 3 kilometres in an arc-like form. Maslin Beach is pure paradise with pristine clear water.
CLAD AND UNCLAD BEACH
In 1975, the southern half of the beach was declared Australia’s first official nude beach. Mainly, sub-divided into the Clad and Unclad beach sections. The ‘Unclad Beach’ territory is in the southern-most part of the beach and is rather on a secluded cove along a stunning red cliff top backdrop.
Annually, Maslin Beach Nude Olympics is held here which has now been renamed to Pilwarren Maslin Beach Nude Games following a letter from the Australian Olympic Committee prohibiting them from using “Olympics” in the title. The event consist of competitions such as three-legged races and the “best bum”.
